Profile - Hermann Sielker

Hermann created Servalto in 2004 to provide consulting on strategic, business, process, and technical aspects of service development. He has 40 years of experience in developing, delivering and managing ICT services. Before setting up Servalto, he worked internationally for American, British, Finnish and German companies, providing services to internal and external clients. He interfaces routinely with director level managers and achieves tangible results and benefits by developing a clear vision of the desired end result and by combining his understanding of a broad range of technologies with a team-oriented approach. Previous Professional Experience

  • IT Director, ECC Group, Germany’s largest public relations and communications consulting group. Responsible for all ICT services (workstations, servers, networks, applications, voice communications). Restructured the IT service portfolio and charging policy and reviewed all IT service processes and supporting systems with a particular focus on service level, configuration and financial management.
  • Technical Director, Sonera. Build-up and management of the German Customer Service Department covering customer project implementation and fault resolution. Services offered include international data connections, Internet access and value added services, and Electronic Commerce solutions. Also responsible for the production infrastructure (datacenter, network) for the services delivered to customers and for the internal IT Systems.
  • Service Manager, BT. Responsible for maintaining customer satisfaction and thus securing the revenue stream from named international accounts. Single point of contact for the customers' senior management regarding the definition, evaluation and evolution of service quality.
  • Service Business Development Manager, Digital Equipment. Developed company-wide methods for consulting services in various technology areas. Responsible for the business development of technology consulting services. Senior advisor to business managers in charge of service development projects. Major contributor to the development of a standardized service development process for the entire company.
  • Software Developer and Systems Administrator, EXAPT. Software development and project management for complex computer aided manufacturing systems. Introduction of software development tools. Installation of hard- and software at client sites and management of the company's computer systems and network.
